The Scientific High School (Scientific Lyceum) is one of the oldest secondary school types in Italy. The educational curriculum lasts five years, and students are generally 14 to 19 years of age.
The Scientific High School offers a wide selection of studies. Central subjects are those related to Natural Sciences (Biolology, Chemistry and Earth Science), Physics and Maths while classical disciplines are also very well represented (Italian, English, Latin, History and Philosophy).
