The Scientific High School
(or Scientific Lyceum) offers a wide selection of studies. The educational curriculum lasts five years, and students are generally 14 to 19 years of age.
Central subjects are those related to Natural Sciences (Biolology, Chemistry and Earth Science), Physics and Maths while classical disciplines are also very well represented (Italian, English, Latin, History and Philosophy). After graduation the majority of the students continue on to university.
