\"\"Project Alpine initiatives for alpine natives – Alps4nats (KA201) unites 3 secondary schools from Slovenia, Italy and France to test a new and innovative pedagogical-didactic approach inquiry-based learning with a participative approach. 24 local sustainable issues in the fields of agriculture, tourism, biodiversity and environmental parameters will be explored and solved during the learning process, which will last 2 school years. The main results will be:
\n– E-textbooks (Sl, F, I) which are used for students’ autonomously and peer to peer learning
\n– 24 individualised curricula will be reviewed and compare to develop 1 joined curriculum with 4 units and Catalogue of knowledge, skills and competences
\n– Toolbox for easier implementation of inquiry-based learning in classroom.<\/p>\n

Alps4nats is an Erasmus+ project<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Targets<\/span><\/p>\n

Students will learn about local Alpine SD issues through transformative learning, which will drive them to achieve SD goals (Agenda 2030). Values and deep learning continuum will be key to enhance a positive shift toward sustainable behavior. Besides formal competences from national curricula, they will develop sustainably oriented competences: anticipatory, normative, strategic, collaborative, system thinking, self-awareness and problem-solving competences … This way youth will be able to face and shape current and future changes, which originated from the financial crisis and the consequences of human-induced climate change. The participative approach has been greatly promoted by Greta Thunberg (Fridays for the future). The participative approach, that will be employed in Alps4nats, will be an added value to inquiry-based learning. Students, involved in the project, will be more pro-active and autonomous in the learning process and process of solving SD issues.<\/p>\n

Outcomes<\/h2>\n
